In most comparison "lists", the AimStick Pregnancy Test is usually ranked #1 or #2. It is with good reason. The AimStick Pregnancy test can detect up to 20 mIU of hCG. This makes it one of the most sensitive of the home pregnancy tests on the market. No urine collection is required for this test. (Hooray, no peepeeing in a cup required!) One can administer this test through the midstream method. (This means go a little, then peepee on the stick.) Complete instructions are included, in addition to an 800# for assistance/questions. Results are available in 3 minutes or less. The cost is less than $8, and you get two tests in each kit. You can also go to the manufacturer's website at http://www.craigmedical.com and order the tests in bulk, at less than wholesale prices.

Bear in mind that the measurement of mIU of hCG is a sensitive process that varies from woman to woman. hCG is human chorionic gonadotropin, a hormone produced by the placenta during pregnancy. Home pregnancy tests (HPTs) are designed to detect it. HPTs can detect hCG right after the embryo begins implantation into the uterus. You might be able to get a positive HPT about 10 days after ovulation. If you don't start your period on time, test again. hCG levels usually double every 2 to 3 days and many women won't get a positive HPT until the first day of a missed period at the earliest.
One last piece of advice. If you are testing early after ovulation, before you have missed your period, you might want to not void for four-hours, if possible. You won't have much hCG in your system at this point, and waiting to void could help detect hCG. Just a thought.
