I chose this camera primarily because I needed a digital camera and also wanted a camcorder so that I could create dvd's of live music performances. This camera is so easy to use especially for someone who is electronically challenged like me. In addition to the digital camera and camcorder it also has a voice recorder which I love because I can record music on it as well as voice recordings. The picture and video quality is excellent. It also comes with headphones and has an AV jack and USB jack for uploading to your computer. It also has a multitude of settings which can customize your photos, videos and music. It's compact, lightweight and also has an SD card slot. I did not have the cable I needed to connect the camcorder to my dvd recorder but it didn't matter because I just used the AV cables with the same result. It requires two AA batteries and I suggest you buy rechargeable to save money in the long run. I didn't test the mp3 or Pc camera yet but will soon. It's perfect for my needs and I absolutely love it. It has everything you need in one little electronic device.
