| three_ster's Full Review: Airborne Effervescent Health Formula Dietary Suppl... |
I have been having a lot of problems with minor colds lately, and I just could not shake them. I was not operating at 100% for a while, and a friend came to me with a suggestion, and a new product that I had not heard of. She too had suffered through many colds, and was a teacher, who is constantly around students who are sick or getting sick. This of course leads to the germs spreading, and before you know it, the teachers are getting sick too. Well her friend had heard of the Airborne Effervescent Health Formula Dietary Supplement Tablets, which had been created by a teacher who was tired of going through the same exact problem. She set out to create a supplement that could be taken, and would help the body prepare early, and fight off a cold before it even had the chance to take root. It would also serve as a tool to give the body some much needed herbal remedy in order to help cure a cold as well. It seemed like a good idea to me, although I had reservations about it working for me. Who was I to judge whether it would work or not without trying it, so of course I picked up a box and gave it a whirl.
First, the instructions read that you can take it through two different methods; at the first sign of a cold symptom, or before entering crowded, potentially germ-infested environments, like airplanes and offices. It sounded like a really great product for someone like me who works with students regularly, and at the same time I thought this would be great the next time I am flying. I always feel a little under the weather after long flights, and I blame that on the lack of fresh air. Taking one of these next time I fly would be a good way to avoid catching one of those colds. But, I am getting a little ahead of myself since I haven't relayed how the product worked for me. They are sold in boxes that resemble what children's vitamins (like Flintstones) would come in, and inside of that is an oval tube that has the tablets stacked neatly on top of each other. There are 10 tablets in each of the packages, and they are easy to slide out, and put to use. They instruct that you take it with a little water, so 1/4 of a glass was set out in preparation.
The way these tablets work is a lot like when you are taking alka-seltzer. You plop one of them into the water, and it dissolves into the liquid. This process takes about a minute, and you can set it out to be ready for you, or you can watch it dissolved if you so wish. After about a minute, the liquid will turn a yellow-greenish color, and there will probably be a few bubbles in the liquid. That isn't a problem, so consider it normal, and move on from there. It is ready to drink after a minute, and drinking the full glass is one dose of the Airborne. Looking at it, you might start thinking to yourself that you really don't want to be drinking this oddly colored liquid, but it is that is as bad as it is going to be. Drinking it, I was reminded or orange soda by the taste, and I was able to drink it in about one gulp. It went down very easily and did not leave behind any chalky taste, which is probably a huge benefit to most people. It just felt like you were drinking some juice, and before you knew it, it was over. There was no strong after taste, and amazingly, less than 15 minutes later, I think I started feeling the effects of the Airborne.
Taking the tablet, I started feeling a little better less than 30 minutes after taking it. It seemed like my body suddenly had a burst of energy, and I felt less "winded" than I had recently. It was a good feeling to think that I was starting to get past one of these nagging colds, and it made me think very highly of the product right away. I had been working with some Nyquil against these colds, but it has only produced some minor results, and I was tired of the taste. Being able to move over to something that would not only help me fight the colds, but was good for my body and tasted good at the same time seemed like a great thing to do. The Airborne has a ton of Vitamin C (1000mg) in it that helps your immune system, as well as 100% of your daily needs for Vitamin A. The tablets are a little large, but you only have to dissolve them, and then take them in liquid form, so it doesn't seem like an issue. Keep in mind, that this isn't a "wonder-drug", but a supplement, so it doesn't guarantee it will heal you, but I can tell you that after a few days of taking it, I have felt much better than I have been feeling. It is a tad on the expensive side at just under $6.00 for the box, but I think it is well worth it if you are looking for a quick way to feel better and aid your body in its defenses. I highly recommend the Airborne Effervescent Health Formula Dietary Supplement Tablets.
