Pros: Natural ingredients, lots of vitamins--good for your immune system, no pills to swallow
Cons: Hard to clean glass once the remains have dried...wash glass immediately after drinking Airborne
The Bottom Line: It's a little pricey but definitely worth it...nice taste and an all-natural immune system pick me up. It's most effective when taken at the very onset of cold.

| brimia's Full Review: Airborne Effervescent Health Formula Dietary Suppl... |
The fact that this formula was developed by a 2nd grade teacher should be enough to encourage you to try it. Children (and those in frequent contact with them) are notorious for getting and spreading colds and every other nasty sickness.
My husband started teaching 7th grade last year, turning our home into a den of disease. About two thirds of the way through the school year, we purchased Airborne at the local Kroger store. It seemed a bit pricey at $5.99 but we were desperate.
The trick is to take this remedy at the very start, the very first tingle of a cold. One of the herbs in the ingredients is Echinacea which is known to shorten colds dramatically if taken right at the onset. Airborne also contains large amounts of Vitamin C and Zinc, also known to lessen or prevent colds and cold symptoms.
There's something about taking all these vitamins and herbs that makes you feel healthier, mentally and physically.
We both used the Alka-Seltzer-like fizzy tablets religiously. Maybe a few times we just imagined the start of cold symptoms but we didn't get sick for the rest of the year. We both like the taste. It's a little salty, a little sweet, and a bit tart. I think the Original flavor tastes best, with Pink Grapefruit in second.
My only caution: wash the glass out immediately after drinking. Once it's dried on, even the dishwasher can't get it off.
