I love Airborne!

Pros: Easy to take, taste is not bad, works.
Cons: Slight aftertaste, price.
The Bottom Line: I definitely recommend this, and have recommended it, to everyone.

I just started using Airborne this year. Until now I had been skeptical, but I had some things going on and I really did NOT want to get sick. So I decided to go for it. I do mainly use the Walmart generic version, but I did also use a tube of name brand Airborne and this review will be, of course, about that one.
The packaging is easy to open and its very easy to just drop a tablet into water. The tablets also break easily if you want to give some to a child or just want less Airborne, you can half it and drink half now, half another time.
You put the tablet into 4 oz-8oz of water, depending on how strong you like the flavor. It takes a minute or two to fully dissolve. Then you drink it. The carbonation helps make it palatable and really it tastes fine until you are done, when you get a bit of a soapy, vitamin aftertaste. But since its not Coke or Pepsi, its not a problem.
I have been taking this at least three times per week for a few months. My kids have gotten sick several times and I have never gotten it. A few times I have started to feel like a cold was coming on (not severe) and I was faithful daily with the Airborne, and within a day or two I felt better again...so far have not gotten a full blown cold. I'm also nursing and have seen no ill effects on my baby....seems like as long as I stay healthy, he does, so that's a definite advantage.
Its true that technically you can't prove the Airborne keeps you healthy...but I have stayed healthy, even through an airline trip and going on a short vacation, and so I am fairly convinced it works. Plus I'm a big fan of taking Vitamin C anyway, and this stuff is packed with Vitamin C...and easier to take than a horse pill anyway.
For financial reasons I will probably continue to buy the Walmart brand... but when I get coupons for the real Airborne I will defintitely buy it again. Great for the whole family!
