After several years of watching my nieces jump on their trampoline and worrying that they would fall off. And occasionally they did fall off of their trampoline, thankfully with no injuries, I decided my children would never own one. That was of course until we saw the advertisement for the Airzone Ultra Flex Springless Trampoline. My arguments jumped out the window!

My husband and I started looking around and found one for sale, (unfortunately not on sale) at K-Mart for just $399.00. The Trampoline was $199.00 and then the net that goes around the trampoline was another $200.00. We never imagined that it would cost this much, but when we started discussing how much a broken bone or worse would cost, we took the plunge and bought one.

The Airzone Ultra Flex Springless Trampoline was an excellent purchase. This was a gift for our youngest daughters third birthday. I know three is young but she had been jumping on her cousins trampoline since she learned to jump and we were always extremely careful. She never jumped without an adult standing on the ground holding her hands and she was always on the trampoline alone. No danger of her older cousins jumping on her or bouncing her off. I must also note that in the instruction booklet one of the warnings states,"Trampolines over 21 inches tall are not recommended for use by children under 6 years of age." You will have to use your own judgment when making a purchase of this kind. And know that parental supervision is required at all times for optimal safety of any activity involving children.

Everyone enjoys jumping on the Airzone Ultra Flex Springless Trampoline, everyone 200 pounds or less that is. For the maximum allowable weight is 200 pounds.

The Airzone Ultra Flex Springless Trampoline is 13 feet in circumference and stands approximately 36 inches off the ground.

The trampoline, as stated in the name is springless. Instead of the large metal springs you see on other trampolines the Airzone Ultra Flex Springless Trampoline has straps. These straps are a part of the mat that you jump on. The straps are made of a heavy grade fabric and are quite sturdy. There is some elasticity to them but not a lot. This trampoline does not have the jump height that a regular trampoline with springs has.

I must warn anyone considering purchasing this trampoline that assembly is very time consuming and not very easy. The instruction book recommends having 3 people for the trampoline assembly. I would recommend having a "Trampoline raising!" In other words, enlist as many strong individuals as you can. Following the instructions is a real must for this project.

Assembling the Airzone Ultra Flex Springless trampoline will take a few hours, yes I said hours!

Before you begin assembly you will want to make sure you have all of the required parts. This trampoline comes with all the tools for proper assembly, no extra tools are needed. There are a lot of pieces though and you will want to make sure you have everything before you begin.

Check your yard for the most level, or flat area for the installation of the trampoline. Clear out any rocks or debris that may interfere with proper assembly.

The most complex and difficult part of assembly is attaching the straps to the top rail of the frame. You must follow the instructions exactly or you will not be able to
finish assembly. The straps only stretch a little, so they have to be attached in a certain order. Very very important step.

Assembling the net was not difficult, the instructions are detailed and it includes photos. There are six upper poles that you slide onto lower poles and align the set screw holes, insert screw, and tighten, then you will cover the pole with foam tubes. Lay out safety cage and place poles at spots indicated by tie straps. Tie the straps to the poles in a knot. Again the instruction book is very detailed and includes photos.

The Airzone Ultra Flex Springless Trampoline comes with a mounting platform. The platform is on hinges and can be closed and locked securely to prohibit entry to the trampoline. The mounting platform is the same height as the trampoline and measures approximately three feet by three feet.

The instruction booklet contains basic direction on several fundamental bounces and shows a simple stick like figure assuming the proper positions necessary to achieve these bounces.

The trampoline comes with a large list of warnings, some of which are:
Do not somersault
Do not allow more than one person on at a time
Do not allow foreign objects or animals on
Do not wear jewelry
Do not rebound off of mesh safety cage
Do not bounce when tired
Do not use while under influence of alcohol or drugs
Do not use electrical equipment the trampoline system will conduct electricity

As with any product that children use, safety comes first. Always closely supervise your children when doing any physical activity. Read the instruction booklet. There is a lot of helpful information provided. When used correctly the trampoline can provide endless hours of enjoyment for you and your children.
