If you suffer from allergies, then I’m sure you understand the need for immediate relief. I am allergic to virtually everything airborne: pet hair, pollen, grass, dust, mold - oh it just goes on and on. It’s been like this since I was about seven years old or so, and by this point I have built up such a tolerance to every prescription allergy medication available that it just isn’t cost effective anymore. So I’ll try anything to be comfortable at this point. I ended up trying Alavert 24-hour Relief Quick Dissolve Tablets because I had gotten a free sample.

Well, let’s just take a closer look at that now, shall we?
How it works
Alavert Quick Dissolve tablets literally melt in your mouth. A little too quickly, actually. They are flavored with a light mint flavor, but I have to equate it to watered-down mint listerine. I cannot stand the taste of these! It bothers me that they dissolve so quickly, because I don’t have the opportunity to wash them down with water. It is convenient, however, when away from a water source and truly suffering from an allergy attack. The tablets are small - smaller than an M&M (or about the size of a regular Tylenol). Since I don’t take allergy medicine regularly as a preventative measure, I am usually scrambling for something fast-acting when symptoms begin to strike. I have to say, these tablets are very fast-acting and I usually feel complete relief within 30 to 45 minutes. They also relieve all but my very worst allergy attacks, so for the most part I have no complaints.
Directions
Tablet melts in mouth. Can be taken with or without water.
Adults and children 6 years and over: 1 tablet daily; do not use more than 1 tablet daily
Children under 6: consult a doctor
Consumers who have liver or kidney disease: consult a doctor
Uses
Temporarily relieves these symptoms due to hay fever or other upper respiratory allergies: runny nose, sneezing, itchy/watery eyes, itching in the nose or throat

My opinion...
