I was so happy when I came home from our visit back home to find a sample for Alavert in my mail. I had just ran out of my allergy medicine and knew that I would not be able to get into the doctor until Monday. My eyes were itchy and my nose was running and I quickly opened my sample and stuck it in my mouth. The pill quickly dissolved in my mouth then all I had to do was wait for it to take affect. I waited a good hour and still no relief from my itchy eyes or runny nose.
Alavert claims to be 24 hour allergy relief that is not only fast dissolving tablet,but non-drowsy formula as well. You can purchase the fast dissolving tablets in a box of 15 $6 or box of 24 for $9 in most grocery stores. Alavert Fast Dissolving Tablets comes in Original flavor (mint) or Citrus Burst. Each box has individual blister packs for each pill and you only take one pill a day (24 hours) to help with your allergy relief.

Alavert is supposed to help with runny nose, sneezing, itchy eyes and scratchy throat. I can say that Alavert did nothing at all for me. The pill started dissolving the minute I put it on my tongue and it did dissolve quite fast. The taste was not bad and it did not leave a nasty taste in my mouth. I think that is the only positive I can give about the Alavert 24 hour relief. I waited for over two hours to receive any type of relief from the symptoms of my allergies with no luck.
I am glad that I received this as a sample so I knew not to bother throwing away my money on this when I went to the store to find something that would actually work for me. Claratin is the one for me.
