I have Giant Papillary Conjunctivitis (GPC) which makes wearing contact lenses far more difficult. Before I discovered Alcon Opti Free Supraclens daily protein remover, wearing contact lenses was a very difficult process for me. I would often have considerable amounts of irritation and discharge that would continue to bother me after taking my lenses out. I was recommended by my ophthalmologist to try the Alcon Opti Free Supraclens daily protein remover with my contact lenses. I have used the product for a few years already, and have used it with a variety of solutions. I have recently discontinued it since I switched to CIBA Vision Clear Care solution. Nonetheless, the Alcon Opti Free Supraclens was a life-changing product for me.
-PRICE-
*The greatest downside to the Alcon Opti Free Supraclens daily protein remover is the price tag. You can purchase it at Walgreens or other fine retailers for around $7.00 for a 0.1oz bottle. It should last you about a month. I have not found any other similar products that are this easy to use. I have not tried enzyme cleaning tablets. This, for the price, is the easiest way to help destroy the protein residue left on your lenses. Even though the price is high, based on what the product has done for me, I would have even paid more for it.

*The Alcon Opti Free Supraclens solution is very easy to use. Just add one drop to each contact lens holder in the case. Then leave your lenses to clean overnight. Finally in the morning, be sure to rinse your lenses off with your contact lens solution to make sure none of the protein remover is left. Once this is done, your lenses are ready for wear! This is a very easy to use product that can be used with any contact lens solution of your choice.

*After using Alcon Opti Free Supraclens, not only do I wear my lenses more comfortably, but I also have not had any major GPC flare ups! This has completely changed my life, and once again I was able to wear contact lenses on a full-time basis. Before, I only wore contact lenses every other day, if even at all, and relied heavily on glasses. Since I did not like the way I looked, I was not happy. Therefore, the Alcon Opti Free Supraclens has improved my life far beyond the lens comfort alone. If you wear contact lenses with such a condition as GPC, Alcon Opti Free Supraclens will help control it and still allow it to diminish granted you use a medication such as Zaditor. Therefore if you are considering LASIK or other type of refractive eye surgery yet still need to wear contact lenses, I would recommend Alcon Opti Free Supraclens very highly. In fact, even though I have been wearing my contact lenses nearly every day since using this product, the bumps under my eyelids have actually been getting smaller! This shows just how effective the product is.
