After waiting over 2 months (may 23 to July 24, 2006) for a 5300 dollar mALX.
After repeatedly being lied to by Alienware ALX support reps Franklin, James, and Daniel about the status of my order.
After repeatedly contacting all of their email addresses for status update including their president.
After posting my concerns and comments on THEIR web site. I still cant get a response from anyone.
I have given up. Alienware has by far the WORST customer support in the world. What about their awesome machines you say? Its a myth, as far as i can tell Alienware produces nothing but lies and fraud.
There online sales practices are in violation of FTC regulations regarding online traqnsactions. FTC mandates the online vendors have 30 days for the customer to receive their order, or be given a full refund if additional delays past 30 days incur. Alienware would rather just keep your money and give you the finger.
I have reported them to Visa corp, my bank, BBB, and FTC for being a rip off shop. I never even got the thrill of their sub-par support. After all, i cant even get what i paid for.
Damage Resulting = Loss of over 5000 dollars from my credit card for over 2 months. Finance charges, aggravation, time spent calling them weekly to be lied to.
