He was almost 2 when it happened. I felt so bad for him because he couldn't understand why they were all gone when he got up in the morning. I knew he hadn't done it on purpose, and I tried to make it as easy on him as possible.

My swordtails are the ones that breed like crazy. I've had a new batch 3 times this month alone and still have 2 pregnant females in that tank.

The Plecostomous I have now is only a little one, but I had one that was 5 1/2 inches long. He died a couple of years ago when we had a power outage and nothing I tried could save him. We were very disappointed because we'd had him since he was a baby.

If I had room, I'd love to set up another big tank. I had one given to me but for now it is in storage until I can move out of the place I'm in right now.

Thanks for the comments,
Kelly

Raising tropical fish in the home is a very relaxing hobbie do you not agree? My tank is overpopulated with albino corydoras right now (close to a hundred of them in a 55 gal. tank), and they just keep breeding! Silly little catfish! It's funny to watch them while they feed on the sinking fish pellets..they eat like there's no tomorrow!

Plecostomous catfish are so cute! I love it when they come out at night to eat. Their fins are full of beautiful spots. They do grow and become big after time. I've seen a five inch pleco one time! How big is yours?

Thanks for enjoyable review!
