Pros: Awesome, smooth bass sound packed with lots of power
Cons: None yet!
The Bottom Line: Totally worth the money because the sound and power are smooth but loud as hell!

| manda_0007's Full Review: Alpine SWR-1041D Car Subwoofer |
I have one of these babies in my trunk in a nice, custom box with an air hole in it and it's hooked up to an Alpine amp (300Watts RMS) and this system pounds like you wouldn't believe. I'm upgrading to two R series subs soon and a bigger amp so that I can really unleash the power of these subs. They are almost indestructible and I would recommend them to anyone looking to get a system! I started with two 10" S series Subs and upgraded to the 12" R series in about two days and was far happier with the quality of sound, the loudness, the power, everything about this sub outdid the S series by a mile. I have heard of a few of the S series subs blowing easily but know several guys with the R series and they have not had problems - they're unheard of!
