Pros: Loud, clean bass
Cons: semi-expensive, needs a significant amount of power to run it to capacity
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this to anyone who likes powerful clean bass and can afford them. If you like it really loud make sure you have a powerful amp.

| eyezonly's Full Review: Alpine SWR-1241D Car Subwoofer |
I recently purchased two swr-1241d's on e-bay. after they arrived and i put them through about a week break in period they pounded hard. I currently have them in my '98 lumina in a 3.5 cubic foot ported box tuned at 32hz. They're being pushed by a legacy 995 amp which puts out about 150 rms per sub. With this setup i'm able to get over 120db at 30hz. I peaked out today at 128db in the 40-50hz range. I'm definitely looking to purchase two more of these and a more powerful amp. These are the best subs that i have owned to date, and at a price that won't break the bank.
