Easily the best sound I've heard for 35.00!!!

Pros: Billowing sound, astounding looks, the best price, operation?--a breeze!
Cons: Not many cons- I'm just regretful that I couldn't get them sooner!
The Bottom Line: These speakers are great- well worth more than $35.00! The sound is balanced, though sometimes the subwoofer is a bit overpowering for me. Highly recommended!!!!!

I had just received a new computer, but it didn't come with any speakers. After encountering my uncle, he recommended this pair of speakers. He saw them at Sams C!ub for only 35.00! Almost immediately we drove down there and picked up a pair.
I had heard good things about A!tec Lansing, so I was confident in the purchase. When we got home, I anxiously opened the well-packaged box and removed the speakers. They were quite robust and sturdy; they felt more hefty than the pair I had previously owned.
Set-up was so easy. All you have to do is plug the 1/8 inch stereo jack into your sound card, plug in the power cord, push in the switch on the front of the right speaker, and then turn up the volume. I then played a "test song". Almost immediately sound filled the room. The bass was thumping and the mid and higher range sounds were very clearly projected. Overall the best sound I have ever heard through any set of computer speakers, and at a price you can afford. Had I heard the sound without knowing the price of these speakers, I would have guessed that they had to cost over one-hundred dollars. Even at that price they would be worth it. A Product!
