Pros: Bass, appearance, ease of hookup
Cons: Bass, no adjustment for bass
The Bottom Line: Very good speakers for the money, but no bass adjustment, and very bassy. Only buy these if you have the option of a software EQ with everything you play.

Bought these speakers for $34 at Sams. They sound pretty clear, good midrange, easy setup, VERY BASSY.
The bass covers up the rest of the music, and you can't adjust the bass. When playing cds or mp3s, I can use the EQ adjustment in REAL or WinMedia, and they sound very good. But, when playing streaming audio, there is no such adjustment.
For the money, they are very good speakers, but I would gladly pay another $10 for a bass adjustment. In fact, that's kind of what I did. I just ordered a set of AOPEN Titanium GTs for $45 from Newegg (no shipping, no tax). We'll see how that goes.
