I got these with my Dell computer about a year ago.
The sub woofer is 40watts, and delivers a good thumping sound, though be it on the large side. The tweeters are 10watts apiece, and do have a surround capability. Overall the sound it delivers really isn’t that bad. At this time the price should have gone down due to more advanced models. However there are still a few quirks I don’t like about this product:
1.All the controls should be on the main speaker, some could only be accessed with the remote control.
2.The rear channels are very weak. The sound comes out kind of garbled.
3.The main speakers have some trouble with the higher notes.
4.In the manual they say that the woofer can go anywhere to sound good. However, the cords are only a certain length, which really limits where you can put these things. The surround speakers do have a longer wire though.
5.There isn’t any kind of earphone jack on these. I would really love to have that, but there isn’t any place for them anywhere.
