I recently purchased Soundblaster live value card and decided that I should get new speakers also. I was thinking about these speakers or Cambridge soundworks ones. I found a deal at Overstock.com for these speakers for $160 refurbished, so I purchased them. I've seen them everywhere else for at least over $200. I received them a few days later.
They came in a big box packaged very nicely. The instructions for putting assembling the speakers were easy to follow and soon I was playing my mp3's! These speakers make the room shake! The subwoofer is 8" and is very powerful. I have it set up where the two satellite speakers rest are on top of each other. They sound really clean and can be played really loudly. Dvd movies play really nicely also with these speakers. Games play very well, everything seems more real. The lcd panel on the speakers has different modes of sound such as Dolby digital, stereo, Pro-logic, and quad.
Overall I would recommend these speaker to anyone who has a decent sound card and wants really good speakers for their computer.
