These batons are top of the line batons at a cheap price. These batons are also anodized, which means that they can be written on or marked easier than a regular powder coated baton. This will allow your team or group to place their name or symbol on it much easier than a normal baton. I have used these in relay events before as I was a runner in high school and am currently competing in Division 1 track and field for Colorado State University! I currently know for a fact that these batons really glisten in the sun and are surprisingly not slick to hold. The curved edges make exchanges much easier and less likely to drop, as, the original non-curved edges used to cut your hands. Overall this baton is a very good deal. However, there is always a downer to something great, and that is the durability. These batons can get dented very easily. Once the baton is dented it is particularly hard to handle as the uneven edges create a less grip able surface for your hand to fit around. If you are using this baton for something other than a track relay race such as fun events or kids parties. Then it is definitely a good choice. If you are using it for a track event then I strongly suggest getting one for practice and one for races.
