kelinrose's Full Review: Amana ADB1500AWS Stainless Steel 24 in. Dishwasher
Sometime ago, my dishwasher died, and we needed a new one. So we ran to our local Home Depot and purchased the Armada ADB1500AWS, we brought it home ourselves, and installed it ourselves.
The price itself was amazing, at $429. After doing a lot of dishwasher shopping, we thought this was the best dishwasher for the price. We love the features, which has a tri-wash system, 100% filtered water, time delay start, high temp wash, heavy to light wash cycles, balled tipped tines, also a 1/3 horse power dishwasher.
Installing it was easy, my husband took the old one out, and placed the new one in, and then plugged it in, and installed it to the water, just as the old one was. We did have to buy a new part for it as the one from the other dishwasher didn't fit the Armada.
Once it was installed, in went the dishes, we used the jet dry that came with it and the powder tabs that also came with it, which is called Finished, or used to be Eletrasol.
I didn't pre-rinse the dishes, selected the heavy wash, and dry, and the dishes came out looking fresh and new. I was amazed as I didn't have to let the dishes soak, and they came out looking beautiful.
This dishwasher is very easy to operate, my autistic 12 year old son can load the dishwasher, put in the power tablet, and then press the buttons, and press start.
My fear is that the eletronics inside the dishwasher might go out, it doesn't have a turn nob, to set the dishwasher, just a few buttons.
