Pros: Close to Busch Gardens, a good value for the area.
Cons: Stained Rugs, Broken TV, Lumpy Mattress, not up to the standards of the chain.

Ameri"suites" starts off with a lie in the name.
These ain't suites.
If it was a suite there would be a Door between the front room and the bedroom.
There is only an archway.
Lucky for me on this trip the kids were worn out enough to go right to sleep both nights.
There is nothing like running around a Really Great theme park for wearing out kids.
Having got that little annoyance out of the way:
Prior stays at other Ameri"suites" had been pleasant. Nice spacious well-maintained and well-equipped rooms; a pool, a mini-gym and a decent breakfast buffet.
This one, however, Sucked.
Stained carpets.
Lumpy mattress.
Lousy TV reception.
Unresponsive staff.
Sure, the sofa bed was uncomfortable, but they always are.
On the plus side:
Good hot water...
In-room safe (perfect to stash the laptop)
Convenient to shopping and Busch Gardens.
Nice lobby, ok buffet.
And the price was very good, effectively 70$/night with a park ticket package. For this area, in season, that is a pretty good price for a modern hotel.
So overall, while not a good example of the chain, it certainly was a good value.
