You've written about him before, haven't you? Seems like I've read this before, though it's still delightful. Mesmerizing experience!

Thanks Paul, it's funny but most people who see his show can not help but be impressed even if you dont really believe in Magic....you have to walk away thinking you just saw something you can't explain, that in itself is worth the price of a ticket..LOL

Thanks for stopping by,
Barbara

Dave, I'm sorry you are moving away from Florida before we got a chance to meet..Doc and Tom wanted to arrange something..too bad it didn't happen

I do hope you get a chance to see one of Copperfields performances someday,

Cheers,
Barbara

and this review did an outstanding job of reminding me why I enjoyed that show as much as I did.

Thank you for reviving that memory, Barbara!

Hi Barbara! Terrific Review. I have been wanting to see his show for years. He has been to Orlando 2 or 3 times since we've lived here and we've been dying to take our kids, but somehow it has never worked out.

Now, after 8 years, we may be moving back home to Richmond later this year and we may not get the chance to see him again (Richmond doesn't exactly attract a lot of big names for entertainment).

I've always been fascinated by magic! (Reply to this comment)

How I would love to see David Copperfield in action! It always amazes me how our mind can be tricked so easily into seeing what really isn't there or, by clever diversion, NOT seeing what is there. I remember watching a magician in a restaurant who made a ketch-up bottle disappear right in front of our eyes. We made him repeat the trick several times and never figured out how he did it!! He has us wondering to this day!

yes she is, But then you have one of those too don't you..grin

We always have a great time when we go out together, the only drawback was that Marci couldn't be there too..:)

David really is a master of what he does and always puts on a thrilling show. And he's so handsome too!!LOL

Thanks once again for your sweet comment Virginia,

It's so appreciated as are all the other comments here,
Hugs, Barbara

Darla, wish I could change your mind, I think David would if you were in the audience, as a showman he can't be beat,

Many thanks for the kind words

Susie, what can I say? I think you would get over the fear once you were up there..:)

What a great daughter (Reply to this comment)

You and she must be very special to eadh other, since the first person she invited after winning the tickets was her Mom. And what a great evening it was. I believe in magic. I even clap my hands to keep Tinker Bell alive on TV. And I loved Tony Curtis as Houdini. I have seldom missed one of Copperfield's TV specials. So I am thrilled by the good time you had when he appeared, and I am sort of glad he kept your daughter there to watch. Another review that's a winner.

What a great thrill for you, and not the first time. I just watch him on the television. I would have loved to have been in your daughter's shoes on the stage, but I think I would have been too nervous.

Wonderful review.

But I have to confess that I do not particularly enjoy this type of show. To me it's all just slight of hand. Though I recognize the skill, it just doesn't sit comfortably.

But I'm glad you enjoyed yourself so much. That's the key thing.

A magical review (Reply to this comment)

It was a magical night and I enjoyed spending it with you. From now on, I'll think very carefully the next time someone asks me if I'm a member of the media. I can honestly say that it's always had its perks... but not this time!
Hopefully, I can win some more tickets to something fun and we can enjoy another fun night out together.
Love, Lisa
