I came across this book, the first in the series, by chance wandering the racks of Barnes and Nobles. It looked funny enough, and wasn't too expensive. This book is the type that actually makes you laugh out loud. There were many nights where I would laugh so hard, I would have tears in my eyes! After reading the book, I told my best friend of the series, only to find out that she had been reading the series for a couple of years! I shared the series both with my mother and my 11 year old daughter. Be forewarned, that as this series is written for and takes place in the UK, so the topics are a little more advanced than girls of the same age group here in the US. There is a lot of kissing (snogging), or at least in this book there is a lot of talk of snogging anyways. But the series is really good, and after reading all 10 books, this, the first book, is by far my favorite!
