That's the very same question i asked myself while sitting though the train wreck that is "Animal" by Ke$ha.
Dont think too hard. The answer is simple. They both have been on a steady track right off the edge off a cliff. Its become clear to me that talent is no longer needed to make top chart's and sell millions in the U.S. Just ask Kesha....excuse me, Ke$sha.
From the first track, i prepared my self to try to like at least one song on the albuim. No such luck. The albulms setlist is one traincrash to another. From the Anti-bully anthem "We R Who We R" to the hang-over friendly "Tik-Tok" it felt like i needed to stop the albulm half way to call A.A.
To be honest, my brother walking in on me playing the albulm and was certain that i was toturing an animal somewhere in the house.
Her lyrics are another weak point in her list of flaws. Most of her lyrics deal with the hardships of being drunk all the time, being promiscuous, and drug abuse. Seeing on how her music in teen targeted, these are dangerous subjects for her to be handeling. She needs to tame her "Animal" side and choose her choices of topics with the uttermost care. Her and Lady Gaga need a good spanking.
Overall, i give it a 2/5.
