Disclaimer Cokkatiel is spelled wrong deliberately. The sweet litter bird won’t pass the profanity check!!!
Cokkatiels deserve their fun too. Large parrot cages often have playpens on top. Cages for cokkatiels rarely do. What’s a bird to do? I don’t feel it’s safe for them to fly around the house looking for entertainment. It’s certainly not safe for the house! How about a play pen separate from the cage? This way you can move it into the room that you’re going to be in and keep each other company!
Nothing brings a smile to my face faster than watching my cokkatiel on his Animal Lovers Deluxe Playpen With Balance Beam Swing, Bell and Brass Ring. Hanging upside down chirping and pecking at the beads. Pulling the bell and making it ring. Doing the cokkatiel smile and pulling it again! You can envision what the playpen toys are meant to do. The cokkatiel feels he must do all of this as upside down as possible!
The 14"x18" playpen is of sturdy construction. Someone with a cokkatiel had to think up this design. Everything on the playpen delights the cokkatiel to no end. There is a swing attached to the main structure. The bottom foot portion of the swing is made out of hardwood. The ladder is connected from the bottom portion of the playpen to the top portion. The center three rungs of the ladder each contain a bright colored bead. One blue bead, red bead and a yellow bead. To the right of the ladder is a little stick (rounded) sticking out the top portion of the playpen. On the end of this stick is a bright little bell. Separate from this portion is a balance beam. The beam it’s self is made out of hardwood and has a brass ring strung on it so it is free moving across the beam. The sides of the unit extend over the bottom portion so seeds and other “stuff” don't get all over.
The hardwood in the swing section and balance beam is made out of Abirdacus. These two portions are shaped naturally to promote healthy feet. The Abirdacus is great for the bird to gnaw on to keep his beak in healthy condition. Abirdacus is a hardwood grown in the Pacific Northwest and is free of pollutants & insecticides

I have been hauling this little play united all over my house and all over the US with each move we have made. It has held up great through all of this. It has also held up under the duress of a Cokkatiel’s beak. The play unit also cleans up easily. It is lightweight and fits most anywhere!
I love the glee in my Cokkatiel’s eyes as he plays on his playpen. This look of glee is the equivalent of a human smile! Though upside down seems to be his favorite play position all the toys work just as great upside down or not! I think anyone considering purchasing a play unit would be very pleased with the purchase of the Animal Lovers Deluxe Playpen With Balance Beam Swing, Bell and Brass Ring.
