| carwash's Full Review: Anna's Taqueria |
The hardest part of going to school away from home for me is being away from Anna's Taqueria for prolonged periods of time. Without fail, my first stop on the way back from the airport during each vacation is at Anna's. It is simply that good.
Anna's serves the quintessential college food. Burritos, Quesidillas, and Tacos. I'm a Burrito man myself, super steak with extra cheese, guacamole and hot sauce. You can't go wrong. The burritos are large, filling, cheap and DELICIOUS. I laugh at friends who swear by Qdoba or Chipotle burritos. You simply have not had a burrito until you have one at Anna's.
Who cares if its authentic or not? So what if the owner is Japanese. The burritos that come off of the super-efficient assembly line at every Annas location are nearly perfect. And even though they may have raised their prices recently, everything on the menu can be had for around 5 bucks. If it wouldn't make me fat, I would eat Anna's every day.
Particularly at the Beacon street location seating can be cramped, so a to go order is a good idea. (Tip: To go orders can be eaten in-house if you spot an available table. It's just best to be prepared!). And ordering in Spanish if its not your native language, although cute, won't win you any points with the staff or the people waiting in line behind you.
I can't sing this place's praises enough. Eat here to understand true burrito bliss.
