I had a little business to take care of in Cambridge, so I asked my brother in law for some good places in the area to get a quick bite to eat. I refuse to eat in places like KFC and McDonalds. When I ordered meat, I want to make sure that I'm getting 100% meat and not filler made out of God knows what.
He told me about Anna's. I figured this was another Taco Bell knock off. I asked him three times if this place was good. I didn't want to have to park my ass on a toilet bowl for three hours and revisit my lunch. I had to dance that night. Its never happened to me, but I don't think most of the customers are going to be throwing 5 dollar bills and looking at my sweet hot ass while it trumpets Beethoven's Symphony. Who knows, one or two guys would probably get their jollies over it, but that don't pay the bills.
So I went to Anna's. The place is pretty cool. It's very popular with the college crowd. They get to eat an entire meal for about $3. The have a simple menu; tacos, burritos, and quesadias. Bascially its all the same thing with slightly different ingredients and wrapper. I ordered a super burrito. It came with meat (chicken, beef, or vegetables), lettuce, salsa, black beans, cheese, and rice. You also get the option of guacamole (which kicks some serious ass). I decided to order some green chile beef. My bro in law said it was awesome. I like really hot stuff so I thought I would give it a try.
I really like hot stuff. Usually in a resturant the employees warn you about the heat, and they end up serving some mild dish. In this place, there is no warning. They just serve up the buritto and a smile (it only cost $3.95 by the way). I bit into the buritto and was in heaven. This thing is hot.
I only got about half way through. Its was buring a hole in my stomach. I actually began to feel ill because it was so hot. Even the soda I got started to taste like hot sauce. So, I picked up a bag of chips with guacamole and it settled my stomach down. I took the rest of the buritto home. Of course, I am a glutton for heat. I scarved the rest of the buritto down and again felt ill from the heat.
I talked to my bro in law later. He said thathe has been there 20 or 30 times and the heat varies. Most of the time it is hot, but not too hot. I think I got the last of the batch so it was soaking in the juices all day long. Oh well. I will definetely be back to Anna's for another buritto. You can't beat the speed, the price, or the quality. Now if my ass will talk to me again, I will be back to normal.
