Apple's third generation Ipod Touch is an improvement from the second and first generation. I have had one for about 3 years. It has many features that the previous ones did not have. The graphics are very impressive, and it is great for playing games on. It runs relatively smoothly, but there are a lot of things that Apple could have done better. The battery life started off pretty well when I first bought it, but it continualy went downhill. After about a year or so of use the battery is pretty worn out. Playing games uses up a lot of battery. Music playback does not use up a lot of battery, and neither does watching videos suprisingly. I would recommend charging it every night, otherwise the battery will be a lot worse. Also the backside of it was very easy to scratch, so I would defenitely recommend a case. One of the big things that I did not like, was it not having a camera. This was a big disapointment for me, and many other people. The only way to get internet on the Itouch was to hook up to a wifi network. This would drain the battery more than usual. If you wanted to listen to music without headphones the sound of the external speaker was very weak. Overall there are many things that Apple could have done better on this device, but I still think that it does have many positives that make it a pretty good device.
