| flgto's Full Review: Apple MacBook Pro 15.4 in. (MA601LL/A) Notebook |
The Macbook Pro was my choice when making the switch from PC to MAC. I wanted to get into better video/photo editing and new MAC was the way to go. As an experienced Windows user, I found the MAC OS a bit frustrating as first. I have yet to invest in any books to learn the OS, instead a quick google search will usually solve your PC to MAC questions. The MACBOOK PRO has a beautiful case and design. The screen just blows away any other laptop display I have other seen. The only problem I had with mine was th Superdrive went bad, but Apple took care of it through their excellent customer service. I bought a refurbished unit, but it ran like new. I still do not know why Apple has to put the "heartbeat" light on the case. It really gets annoying at night. Thanks to the efforts of a teething puppy, I had the opportunity to buy a replacement AC adapter at over $100. Keep your cords safe! The magnetic plug to the unit was a great idea by Apple and has been a life saver more than once! Apple continues to amaze me with their products. Although they are pricey, I feel like I am getting a good product. Their packaging also screams "special" in each product they make. If you are a possible PC to mac switcher, the MACBOOK PRO is a great choice!
