At first I was extremely cautious when considering to buy the iPod. 499$ is a LOT of money, and finally i was persuaded by one of my friends to get it. I must say that this was one of the best purchases I have ever made.

Size capability:
I personally think that the HD is absolutely amazing. 10 gigabytes is definately enough to handle all of my mp3s. As of now I have 3 days worth of music on my iPod, and still have storage left. Its incredible.

Compatibility:
I am a mac person. I have OSX and 3 additional computers running OS9, and as you would have guessed from an apple product, the iPod is extremely compatible with all of my computers. Its great. I do also have a dell running XP, and with the new software released, have had no problems transferring from my dell to the pod.

Sound Quality:
The earphones are very cool looking, but after long period of use, become uncomfortable. I have recently purchased a new set of sony headphones for this, and the sound is unbeatable. I feel like im in a concert every time I listem to my iPod.

As one reviewer posted, its even great in the car. With one of the car adaptors, you virtually have an unlimited amount of music to listen to.

The best feature of them all:
Not many people, and I guarentee not manny of the reviewers here, know about the palm capability that the iPod has. Many new sites have been created that allow the iPod to transofrm into a great little Palm. You can have a adress book, calander, and many other types of software. I think Steve Jobs was right on the money when he decided to release this incredible little piece of machinery.

This is one of the best mp3 players around, and I would reccommend it to anyone looking through the market to find a reliable, lightweight, incredible player.
