I've owned the Apple Airport Express for over a year and love it. I initially bought it so I could connect it to my speakers and listen to music from my computer. I also wanted to connect it to my speakers to print wirelessly. Only recently have I connected it to my high speed modem. I will discuss each function separately;
Music: The cable that connects airport to your stereo is not included, but is easy to find in stores like Radio Shack. The quality of the music is excellent and sounds just like it would if it came directly from the stereo itself. One complaint is that it can be interrupted by other audio on your computer (happens to me when my computer tells me I have mail) and you have to hit play again. Also, it only plays music through iTunes. If you have anything that isn't compatible with iTunes you won't be able to listen to it through this device (a minor point).
Printer: This is one of my favorite features! I love having my printer hidden in a cabinet and being able to print remotely, even from other rooms or on my deck! I had some trouble getting it to recognize my printer, okay, a lot of trouble, but I downloaded Apple's free Bonjour software and it set it up for me without a problem. I was able to set up one of my other printers on my own, but this one gave me trouble for some reason, so it isn't necessarily the fault of the Airport Express.
Internet: The signal is great and I can move freely around my house and even outside without getting disconnected.
The unit itself is great because it is small enough that it can be concealed behind my media cabinet and even though I can't see it I still get the signal! I am very happy with my purchase and love the fact that I can travel with it if I choose.
