I bought this computer as my college computer. It is perfect for a college student (after you buy a word program). This computer has never failed me. It is my work shop, and my play toy. Microsoft Word, Endnote and Internet Explorer run seamlesly on OSX, which solve my study needs. The many options and simplicity of iTunes eliminated the need for a sterio system. The powerfull G4 processor and 40G hard drive hold and run many games, eliminating the need for a gameing console. The brilliant and wide screen that is better than many tvs, plus DVD player, can even cut the need of a home theatre system. I also have all of the old programs and files I had on my parents old mac that runs OS9, and they all run perfectly, and it's easy.
The only thing I don't like about the computer is the fact that it gets very warm after about 30 min. Just don't put it on your lap though and youll be fine.
