keenesbeans's Full Review: Apple MacBook Pro 15.4 in. (MB133LL/A) Notebook
When I was looking for a laptop to use in college, I ran across many great deals on HP's, Dells, and Sony's. I've always been a Microsoft user, but heard many great things about Apple. The one thing that got me the most was the fact that they couldn't be infected by viruses. Having many little brothers, there is nothing that can keep them from downloading everything off the internet. Of the 5 computer's in my household, 3 were infected by a virus. So, even though the Macbook Pro was farr more expensive than all the other laptops, I didn't want to deal with a virus while i'm already stressed out with college.
My Macbook Pro has surpassed anything I expected from it. First of all, i thought it would be very difficult to make the transition into Macs. To my surprise, everything was very simple to understand.
I think everyone could agree that the Macbook Pro is beautifully designed, but there is so much more to it. In my experience, my Macbook Pro runs programs a lot quicker than my Dell and Sony Computers. There is absolutely no lag time to anything i do. I could have 8 applications running very smoothly. One of my favorite features would be the Expose.
I really do not like the fact that the casing scratches very easily ( i would suggest a hard case if you decide to purchase one ).
Another downside is that it gets very hot every once in a while.
Overall, it's a beautiful laptop that functions very smoothly. I believe it is ideal for those that want a laptop to listen to music, write documents, search the web, create music, and play with the photo booth.
