Thanks for the email alerting me to the update and you did a nice job on the update. I understand you wanting to do an initial review of your impressions while they are still fresh in your mind, but it is more helpful to the consumer if you put it all into the review when you post it.
An idea that you might consider next time, you can write your review using a word processing program and save it and then you can add the additional observations after you have used the product for a while.
It usually takes a little while to develope a writing style that is comfortable for you and that allows you to provide a good mixture of specific details and personal experiences with the features of the product.
Good luck in your writing and I look forward to reading more of your reviews in the future.

Be aware that your review picks up the vast majority of its ratings from Epinions members in the first 2 or 3 days after its posted. Once you have a lot of SH ratings, your review will be hidden from non members of epinions (few hits). You'll need to email all of your raters and ask them to revise their ratings after you update..... Good luck with the laptop.

I just wanted to write an initial review about my new Powerbook. I believe a week of use will express more interest, and more to say. Right now, I know that this is not a very good review. Again, in a weeks time, I will have a complete review.

Good start to your review, summarizing a few key features. But...
I'll update my review in about a week... to let you know about how my software is working with the computer, and other hardware.
This is just the type of information that will help your readers make a buying decision. Right now, its not clear your pc performs. Pls email me or respond to this comment when you revise this review so I can update my rating. Enjoy your laptop.
