| liveapple2000's Full Review: Apple iBook 12.1 in. (M8485LL/A) Mac Notebook |
The iBook is the first notebook I ever had and I think it is great. The new Mac OS X is fast and reliable and runs applications error-free. 128MB of RAM is not enough but is perfect if all you do is go online and run AppleWorks, AIM and simple apps. This laptop is great for a home user but if you want to run memory-hungry apps such as Photoshop, you will need to upgrade the RAM. With the AirPort card for wireless networking, the Apple iBook is a TRUE mobile laptop. The laptop can be taken anywhere in the house and I can still check my e-Mail wherever I go. One feature that turned me on with buying this laptop is the features. With iMovie, iPhoto, iTunes and the DVD-CDRW drive, you have a mini multimedia system. I would recommend this laptop to anyone who wants a laptop with lots of features and someone who has a big wallet.
