| jrconti's Full Review: Apple iBook 12.1 in. (M8485LL/A) Mac Notebook |
essentially, it's a solid little computer for people with big needs. if you arn't doing heavy duty graphics, or feel the need for the slothful OS X (but yes Apple-heads, it's getting better), it easily will surf, scan, rip, process, entertain and amaze you. besides, it's an apple! one other thing, although the larger screen seems better in a country where bigger is better, the weight & battery suckage of the 14" negates any longterm benefit of someone who is on the go--besides, it's not the size, it's what ya do with it. with one hand, i can easily manipulate my iBook, and put it in my backpack--i hardly know it's there. also the price is reasonable. sure you don't get to pay PC prices, but then you won't have the pleasure of having to nickle & dime your way to upgrade your computer to one which is as nice as this.
