| amital's Full Review: Apple iPod 1st Generation 10 GB (MAC) MP3 Player |
If you are one of those people that likes to buy things, simply because other people are buying it, then this is a classic example of such a product. In my opinion, this product is for the masses, and people are buying it because, well, they are just buying it. The need to have your entire cd collection in the palm of your hand, will most likely never make you wan't to hear that cd again. But getting to the product itself, apple decided to use cheap material, that makes the product look dirty after you finish using it for the first time. The white color, looks good under wraps, but once you start to handle the unit, all the dust from your hands rubs on to the unit. THe unit also scratches very easily. I also wonder, why apple chose to use the dying "CHICAGO" font as the system font. you make a unit that looks very futuristic, but you drop in a font that is from the now dead system 7.
