The Apple Ipod nano is a the succsessor to the old Ipod mini. The one it replaced was clunky this ipod is completely the opposite. Ive owned this product for about 6 months now and i bought it from circuit city and bought there protection plan (which was much cheaper than apples) and the packaging was very nice simple clean and to the point. It came with a dock adaptor (to fit in with ihome & other acceries) and a cord that connected from the ipod to your USB port on your PC or Mac. Setup was a breeze just install itunes and download all the updates for your ipod and start ripping or downloading music and your done.

Layout:
The layout of the ipod is very nice its sleek with its white on the front and a very nice "mirror" like silver on the back. The clickewheel is a VERY nice feature just run your thumb around it and thats how you scroll through music-menus etc. There is no button to "stop" music from playing just a pause button. I was surprised there was no stop music button but after having it for about a week i saw that there was no need for it. There also is a screenlock where you can lock yout ipod and put a code on it which you set your own combination. One major complain i have is that it scracthes way to easily since i did my homework and learned how easily they scracthed i pickup up a case for it that covers the screen and the clickwheel.

Ease of use: The Ipod nano is a very easy to use interface better than many MP3 players ive seen out there it have menus for music-settings-extras-shuffle songs and if you click on each one another menu comes up for example if you clicked on music than Albums-composers-songs would come up than if you pressed songs all your songs would come up. Than jsut scroll to your hearts content untill you find the one you want. The volume can get very loud i find when im all alone i have it the lowest it can get but when im on the bustling bus i have it loud.

All in all the Ipod is a great MP3 player
