Feels junky and is difficult to install, but will get the job done

I finally purchased the TROS1500 after it had been out of stock for months on Amazon (and Target). I had hoped they were using that time to improve the product (or at least the installation directions), but alas, they had not. I had problems with installation just as the other reviewers on Amazon did.

The template does not have the correct dimension markings on it, and the dashed lines are actually on the WRONG side of the line--using them will make your installation go horribly wrong. However, if you have some carpentry and/or spatial-perception abilities, then you'll be okay figuring it out without the directions.
The screw-hole indications on the template are indeed correct, which is the most important thing.
Tip: You do NOT need to use the spacers on the front screws. I also used scotch tape to hold the spacers together (and to tape them to the underside of the cabinet), which helped.
The entire installation took me about an hour and a half (by myself).
Beyond just the installation strife, the unit feels rather junky. It doesn't have a proper "toast" setting--rather, you have to turn the timer past "10" and then roll it back to the setting you want. You also have to make sure the temperature is on "Toast" (all the way up), or it won't heat up.
It does not turn off when you open the door.
They do not include a tray, just the wire shelf.
The white plastic strip behind the handle rattles.
Bottom Line: This unit will get the job done (it does make toast), even though it is a hassle to install and feels quite cheap. I needed a white, under-cabinet toaster oven, and this was the ONLY one I could find. It will suit my needs, but I'm certainly not likely to buy another Black & Decker product again!
