Pros: Wonderful family relaxation, hold up well
Cons: more of a commitment that I had anticipated.
The Bottom Line: I am very happy with the pool itself, I just wish that I had known what I was getting myself into.

| pichu210's Full Review: Aqua Leader Illusion Pool |
I purchased an Aqua Leader Illusion Pool last spring. One thing you have to watch out for are all of the hidden costs of having something like an above ground pool installed an all that goes along with it. I ran into way more money than I was anticipating to get this job done right.
The pool itself is wonderful. It is a 24'round pool and we enjoy it tremendously. It is very sturdy and even the kids sitting on the rail is not a problem. The rails are made of resin which is very nice. They have a 30 year warranty.
The pool has held it's color for the time I have had it. There is no sun or chemical fading. The liner has held up well, also, with no rips or tears. It has a 15 year warranty.
The pool itself is wonderful. I am completely satisfied. There were a couple of things about owning a pool that I did not anticipate.
The first one is that with pool, installation, landscaping and deck, the entire area ended up costing me 4 times the $2200 that I spent on the pool. This was with all of the labor except installation being done ourselves. Then there is the cost of upkeep. This has been a very expensive project.
The second thing is I had not planned on spending almost as much time on upkeep as I do enjoying the pool Between putting the chemicals in, checking the water, sweeping, skimming, opening and closing the pool, there is a lot of time involved.
I don't regret my purchase, I just wish that I would have been more informed. Before you purchase a pool, make sure you do a little research and make sure that you are up for the commitment.
