Pros: clumped very hard, decent price, has baking soda in it
Cons: does not contain odor well at all
The Bottom Line: I would not recommend this product to someone who is looking for a litter that controls odor well. It just did not deliver on its promises.

| dana1234's Full Review: Arm & Hammer Super Scoop Cat Litter |
I bought this litter thinking that it would control odor. The box claimed that it was the last time if you used this litter that you would ever have to change the whole litter box. It says that you simply scoop out the clumps and add a little more each time.
It contains baking soda, which is a plus. I thought because it had the Arm and Hammer name and contained the baking soda that odor control would be good. Not true.
After just a few days in the box, the litter began to stink really bad. We started scooping twice a day instead of once. No help. We mixed in some of those litter deodorizing crystals, still no help. We tried air fresheners and everything. It eventually got to the point where I was having to change the complete litter box just about every week. This seems like a little too frequent to be doing this with a CLUMPING litter.
I did like how hard the litter clumped. When I scooped it the clumps never broke. And it was easy to scoop out. My cats flung a little bit of it out of the box, but not too much.
I wish this litter controlled smell better because I have yet to find a litter that clumps better. But smell to me is more important than clumping so I won't be buying it again.
