| mgarciafaure's Full Review: Armor All Cleaning Wipes |
All categories of Armor All wipes were tested against the similar wipes in the Clean Plus collection (see www.cleanplus.com).
Wipe quality :
No contest a clear win for Clean Plus products. Armor All wipes (i) skimp on quality, crease or puncture the substrate to reduce cost and absorbtion (ii)fail the snap test, ripping or stretching demonstrating insufficiency of the binder, and (iii) fail the finger test demonstrating improper wipe composition ensuring lint. The Clean Plus wipes passed all three fundamental test.
Solutions :
Clean Plus wipe offer equal to superior performance on a higher quality product priced at 50% the price of all Armor All products.
Performance :
Generally Clean Plus wipes were easier, faster and more effective than all Armor Wipes - The Clean Plus collection is the largest in the world and contains many products.
ON LIQUIDS
All tests performed with the exception of the tire shine which is not yet available in the Clean Plus consumer line were tested. There was no contest. Clean Plus liquids were far superior. The test also rated Sonax, Auto Glym and Meguiars. Clean Plus liquids were equal to or superior to all four brands, and 40 to 50% less expensive.
Recommended:
No
Ease of Application: Terrible; takes a long time to apply and shine
