Do you postpone washing your car longer than you should? Do you forget to squeegee your windows at the gas station? If so, stash Armor All Glass Wipes in your car for some emergency window cleaning.
Convenience of Container
Armor All Glass Wipes come rolled up with a whole in the middle of the lid of the cylendrical container. In theory, you should be able to pull one wipe through at a time, and then close the lid.
In my experience, either too little or too much usually comes through. For example, I might tear off the corner of a sheet. Or I will pull through a sheet, and the next one keeps coming. When I separate the sheets, I can't push the second sheet through enough to close the container.
However, I find this just a minor annoyance.
Convenience of Cleaning
I thought it would be just a matter of casually wiping the window with the sheet. The sheet is moist and quickly picks up dirt.
However, after wiping, I realized that I was left with large streaks. What happened, is that when pushing around the wipe casually, the dirt was wiped off according to the pressure on the wipe... namely in the pattern of my fingers pressed against the cloth.
A second pass, carefully wiping with pressure along the edge of my hand and little finger quickly rectified matters. This time my windows were clean and free of streaks.
If you need to clean all your windows, you will probably go through several wipes. On fairly dirty windows, I found that one wipe is good for two side windows, and I usually need two wipes each for the front and rear windows.
Storing Wipes in the Car
I store my wipes in the car, under one of the seats. This means that they are always available. However, winter in Canada is cold. In the winter they ended up freezing and weren't of use to me. Fortunately, as the weather warmed up again, they thawed out and have retained their moisture and cleaning.
