Well first of all as usual thankyou for reading my review and please feel free to leave comments and your rating of it! Now to the good stuff. I bought this Armor All because the product I usually use Meguaiars Natural shine was out of stock at my local Auto Zone. Now I have used armor all products before and they worked well but never as well as Meguiars in my opinion. Now in the pinch I was in I had to have something because I was getting ready for a date and I needed a clean car! All guys know the feeling :) Anyway I bought this as per the recommendation from the store clerk and my previous encounters with Armor All products and left to try it out on my car.
* Ease Of Use
Well, In relation to some of Armor All's other products this one is easy to use. A lot of people usually spray the protectant onto say the dashboard and then wipe it. Well, I found that with this product it is better to spray it onto the cloth then wipe it onto the dashboard as opposed to vise versa. Also unlike some of Armor All's products this one doesn't leave your hands all greasy after you use it on your car. For example if you are one of the people like me that likes a shiny steering wheel then this is a good product to use because it doesn't leave much of a slippery or greasy film for the steering wheel to slide through your hands when driving or to get deposited on your hands in the form of black grease. Its fairly easy to apply as well and covers evenly. Just spray it on your cloth and wipe one time and you covered the surface with Armor All. No re-wipes or re treatments necessary! Also it leaves a very high gloss shine as opposed to Normal Armor All which is its purpose. In addition to this the bottle it comes in is different from the normal Armor All in the respect that it doesn't crack as easily and it requires fewer pulls of the trigger to get the product out so that way you don't wear your hand out trying to spray it. And last but not least is they fact that this seems to repel dust to a certain extent. I applied it to my dash and had no dust for approximately a week! And in my car I ride with my windows down all the time that is a long time for no dust!
* Shine Quality
I would say that the shine from this Armor All is far superior to that of the normal Armor all however still inferior to the shine from Meguiars. It is a nice glossy smooth looking shine that turns all dulled or faded dashes into vibrant new looking dashboards. Apply this to the interior of your car and you will have what would be considered showroom looking interior! I have tried it on various colors of interior and various surfaces and it shines and makes everything look brand spanking new. I really cant say much more about the shine except that it is very glossy and looks great inside any car on the road.
* Length Of Effect
I have used various interior protectants and this one almost lasts the longest. I say almost because as a test I did half of my dash with this Armor All and half of it with Meguiars Natural Shine and the Meguiars actually shined for 2 weeks as this one shined for about 8 days. The shine does vary as to the car being parked where sunlight can hit the dash or if there is a lot of heat buildup inside the car and things like that. If you park your car in a garage and out of sunlight and such the shine will last about 2-3 weeks. If you park in direct sunlight the shine lasts for about one week then gradually fades away. One word of advice do not allow this product to get into nooks and crannies in your dashboard because it will turn into a gel like substance that is a major pain to get out of the cracks. Its like trying to get toothpaste out of the cracks.
* Overall Satisfaction
Overall I would highly recommend this product however if you can get it use the Meguiars. I do keep a bottle of this around in case I run out of Meguiars so that I can still detail my car well but its not my main use. I am satisfied and please with this Armor All product and glad to see Armor All still makes high quality products. As always thank you for reading my review and I look forward to many more. DYQ685
