sumersbe's Full Review: Army Men for Game Boy Color
It has all these spectacular weapons..You would expect a lot of action, but once you begin to play it you find out that is more of a strategic battle game with absolutly horrid controls, simply put this game should not be played with the kind of directional pad gameboy has to offer. Extremly limited movement in 8 directions makes hitting your target a big challenge having to reposition yourself sometimes just to hit anything
There are also hidden mines, which I find to be some nusence in the game having no idea where they are.. Of course, they are like real mines, where they arent..they dont kill you, they take over 3 hit points of damage. This ame has also a unique training mode, Boot Camp which is useful to get used to the game, it will take you around 1 hour to get used to the game and the controls. It also has digital audio, realistic weapon fire sounds, as well as digital commentary when you complete a mission which is also a plus
