Pros: Economical, lasts a long time, GIVES RELIEF TO TENDINITIS!!!
Cons: none I've found
I have tendinitis. Right now it's around my right ankle, and because I'm on my feet a lot, it's hard to get rid of a bout of tendinitis in my feet. I've tried all kinds of things. I'm currently on a prescription pain medicine that worked 2 years ago, but hasn't been doing much this time because even on limited mobility, I'm really straining that ankle-- see, I have just recovered from a major injury to my left knee, and for one week of that 6 month recovery, I had both knees in pain after I wrenched my right one. Now both knees are well, but the tendinitis has set in very nicely in my ankle.
For the last 2 weeks I've been using Aspercreme on my ankle. I had purchased it to help with the recovery of my left knee (and it really did knock out the pain for a few hours!), and ended up using it on my right knee while it healed. Now I'm concentrating on my ankle and realizing just how much help the Aspercreme has been (hard to tell when you've got so much pain going on). For six months, it's hurt and nothing has touched the pain until I started using the Aspercreme on it. And not only is it helping with the pain on a short-term basis, but I can see improvement in it daily that I wasn't seeing until I started using the Aspercreme!
It doesn't stink! It works on pain and helps to heal too! Easy to apply, and a little goes a long way so it's economical too.
It reminds me of having a sore throat as a kid and chewing on Aspergum! It was good, but the memory includes sticking about 5 of the pieces in my mouth trying to get enough to blow a bubble. Oh the trouble I got into!
I've taken Aspercreme for granted. I gave the credit it deserved for lessening my pain to the medications I was on. Now I know it played a big role in healing my 3 injuries. I'll be keeping this one handy-- and that stinky cream in the medicine cabinet is in "File 13."
