I'm a big fan of Dr. Atkins and his methods, sooo I tried this along with some of the other products he offers. I picked the "Cappuccino" flavored shake.

I wish I hadn't. I have been eating the bars and using the syrup, but this stuff sits on the shelf in my pantry. I tried everything to get rid of the lumps. It seemed as though the water stayed water and the lumps refused to mix. So, I drank my lumpy water and gagged through the whole experience.

I made the mistake of trying it with hot water. Ye gads, that stuff turned to elastic lumps. I'd like to tell you that I was smart enough to toss out that steaming mug of skak, but no such luck. Yes, I drank and chewed. Beside the poor texture, it had a very sickening sweet taste.

I don't have the guts to try the vanilla or chocolate. I just can't get the memory of my cappuccino nightmare off my mind.

Sorry, Dr Atkins, this one just doesn't cut it.
