wizeone123's Full Review: Aubrey Organics Green Tea Cream Rinse 11oz Liquid
These past few days I have come to the realization, that despite popular belief, algae is not just something floating around as pool scum. So the next time it crops up in your backyard pool, hop in and use it as a slimy, refreshing cream rinse! Just kidding, but the cream rinse made by Aubrey Organics with Blue Green Algae is a great treat for your hair! (minus the pool slime)

How To Use:
I had to take a second to consider the term "cream rinse" before realizing that it is just a different term for "conditioner". When I think of cream rinses, I think of a show poodle getting ready for the dog show with a flea dip.
Now that I have tried the "cream rinse" I would venture to say that it surpasses the performance of any regular conditioner I have tried (meaning drugstore brands). It is used just like the ordinary, non-organic conditioners where the bottle recommends to work it through hair after shampooing and concentrate on the ends. Then to leave it in for 1 to 3 minutes.
Like other Aubrey Organics products that I have recently had the pleasure of trying, I found the consistency of this product to be watery, but not overly so. There was definitely some substance to it (too watery and it wouldn't hold very well to hair), but it was definitely not a cream . So on the other hand, the term "cream rinse" could easily be thrown out the window!
My Experience:
After shampooing, I tilted the pop-top lid and really didn't need to squeeze. The right amount rushed out into my hand. Be careful because it comes out quickly! I was worried that this might not condition as well as I was hoping because it really is a thin formula. As I said earlier, there's nothing creamy about this rinse. I was skeptical that this watery conditioner would be able to get the job done and deliver great looking hair.
I left it on for a couple of minutes, and then when I rinsed and ran a comb through, I was pleasantly surprised that the comb went through with ease! This conditioner detangled much better than I expected.
The only complaint about this conditioner is the smell . While I was working it through my wet hair, and then after blow drying, the scent still lingered. It does smell a lot like green tea, so if you are a fan of that, then you should like the smell. However the smell was not for me.
Result:
This conditioner (I don't think I will ever call it a cream rinse!), made my hair feel very soft. It brightened it and made it feel super strong. The fly aways that usually crop up after I blow dry were no where to be seen.
My hair felt very light all day. I have dry hair with an oily scalp and so sometimes my hair will get dull by the end of the day. But not with this! Soft, shiny hair was mine all day long. I loved the result! The end result was so great, that I will forgive the smell.
Ingredients:
I love that Aubrey products are all 100% all natural/organic and cruelty-free!
Deionized Water, Coconut Fatty Acid Cream Base, Organic Aloe Vera, Almond Protein, Organic Blue Green Algae, Milk Thistle Extract, Organic Lavender Oil, Rosewater, Aubrey's Preservative (Citrus Seed Extract, Vitamins A, C and E).
Final:
This was a great conditioner for the low price of $12 (hey, for an all natural product, that is a steal!). It is perfect for people like me who tend to have thin, fine hair and want a fuller look that isn't weighed down.
