these subs are made for sound quality, they are very accuarate with all frequencies, i installed 3 of these in a small fiberglass box, and hooked it up to a esx v.800 amp took it to compitions for a year and read a 149.9 everytime. keep in mind that these are not made for spl applications, but there 3" vc, and double stacked 120 oz magnets shows that they will have no proble doing the job. i love them, and have never had a single problem with them. but be aware that if the box is to large they will over excute and will cause damage to the sub, but that could happen with any sub..
