| Monkey_Rancher's Full Review: Audiovox CDM-4000 Cell Phone |
First of all my comments should be prefaced with the fact I received this phone free with my calling plan. I had resisted the siren song of cell phone for quite some time, but with the hours I was now spending away from a phone I had to make a purchase. The sales pitch was slick, and I couldn't beat the price, so I decided on the free Audiovox over the Nokia that cost an additional 50 dollars. I must say it was the right choice. I am pleased with the talk and standby time the battery allows. Talk time is about 3 hours, and standby can last a week depending on the volume of calls.
The phone is attractive, light weight and easy to operate although there are more bells and whistles that a person would ever need, but most people like that. Clarity come in question with a occasional fuzzy or dropped call, but overall it is pretty reliable. Durability is super. My wife dropped it on the driveway, and it lived to tell the tale, Thumbs up to that.I could say it was a good phone for the money. But I would have paid more as well.
