| soysaus's Full Review: Audiovox CDM 4000 Cell Phone |
This digital phone was free (after $40 rebate) with a 2 year contract with the Verizon(formerly Air-Touch) Cellular. A dealer in Koreatown provided with this phone a free leather cover, car charger, charge plug and hands-free ear/mic for driving. having had this for 9 months, I am extremely happy with its light weight, sleek design, and many functions which includes text messaging that can be used to deliver message from the Verizon.com (if patron) website. Compared to the Nokia phone Audiovox 4000XL is lighter and thinner so fits in a fashion purse nicely. The only downside to this phone is that I have yet to find a website that provides ringtone downloads for this phone. Equipped with 15 different ringtones, the Audiovox 4000XL can be programmed to caller ID each incoming call. The memory capacity is big enough to store 100 phone numbers. The battery lasts 3 days as standby. I recommend this product if the main concern about carrying cellphones is its weight and the quality of sound. I also recommend this phone in champagne color.
